Saturday, I spoke about Google+ at the 5B Conference, also known as the believers in better beer, bites and blogging. Hoperatives in conjunction with Cincy Winter Beerfest, host the conference and did a great job of putting together a great line up of speakers. Attendees were treated to great conversation and lots of good information about beer blogging, food blogging and general blogging. During the lunch hour, we are treated to a special beer that was a happy accident. Instead of being aged for six months, it was aged for a year. Ends up it was well received by the conference attendees.
I attended sessions on Pinterest, combating blogging fatigue and using photography to tell a story. Regardless of how much you think you know about any particular subject, you can always learn more if you are open. This is one of the best things about attending a conference and attending one that is not in your usual area of expertise or interest. This is definitely a conference I will look into attending next year and maybe I will be able to hear more from the beer bloggers. They are a great group of people.

I’m completely overwhelmed by Google+. I have no clue how to use it which makes me feel rally old and ancient. How do I get started? Any good tips or Google+ tutorials for dummies?
Kacey: Here is a link the handouts I shared with the group during the session. I hope it helps. http://bit.ly/Y2jzFp
Loved your session on G+ and really making an effort to use it through our local community. Thanks for re-tweeting this post, I caught it.
So glad you did, Andi. I enjoyed sharing how much I enjoy the communities on Google+. It is nice to not have to worry about not seeing people’s posts. I like the control you have with Google+
