How to Deal with an Opinionated Person **Video**

opinionated

I looked up the word Opinion and here is what I found:

OPINION

1 a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter
2 belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
3 a formal expression of judgment or advice by an expert
I know we go throughout our day formulating opinions about this and that. That is a good thing, as it is substance for good conversation and opportunities to learn something new. What is not good about opinions is when you become the object of someone’s said opinion.
Unfortunately, some people use their belief filter to make a judgement about you that you did not necessarily ask for. Have we become so relaxed in basic respect that we offer our opinions to people who do not want or need them? We are all guilty of this, but I believe there is a way to deal with people who do this to you constantly.

While my opinion is playful, there is some realness in it, also. In the end, you can not allow garbage to enter your thoughts. Even if it is coming from “well-meaning” family and friends or non-friends. Sometimes, you have to reject it and keep it moving.

  • I don’t think I have the guts to be opinionated with anyone but my husband….all other opinions stay in my head or come out on twitter (which none of my friends read!) :0)ReplyCancel

This video is most definitely not diarrhea to my ear - or eyes. It really couldn’t have appeared on my Twitter feed at a better time.ReplyCancel
