Photo Editing

Lightroom is my photo editing tool of choice. It is hands down the best digital darkroom I have ever used and has streamlined my editing process. The tool is versatile and easier to use than it looks. Plus, there are a variety of great tutorials available to help you get up to speed quickly with Lightroom.

Cameras and Lenses

DSLR

The Canon 7D and I prefer to shoot with prime lenses. The 85mm is my go to lens for amazing portrait, and I also shoot with a 35mm and a couple of zooms.

Mirrorless

The NX30, NX300, NX3000 and NXMini are much lighter than my main DSLR and both are perfect for travel and quick day trips. Both cameras allow you to change the lens like a DSLR and I can send the pictures I take to my phone instantly. I love this feature! I have been pleasantly surprised by the mirrorless cameras and the great pictures both cameras produce.

Point and Shoot

My first point and shoot was a Canon G9. It is an outstanding camera, I affectionately called “The Brick”. It is solid, shoots great video and takes great pictures. Today, my go to point and shoot is the Galaxy Camera (EK-GC110). This camera comes with Wi-Fi connectivity and has the features of Android 4.1 Jellybean operating system. Everytime someone sees me shooting with this camera, they try to take it from me. The pictures and videos it produces are amazing.

Camera Bag

I own a couple of Epiphanie Bags and they have me completely spoiled. I love that they don’t look like camera bags and that they do a great job of protecting my equipment when I am traveling or on a shoot.
