My teeth and I have not always gotten along well. Until recently. I made taking care of them a priority at the beginning of the year because . You see, I have not always been fond of going to the dentist, because of one bad experience with a dentist who was more into his golf game than his patients. That caused me all kinds of anxiety that plagued me for years until I recently found a great dentist.
One of the things I brought up to my current dentist was teeth sensitivity I was having with one particular tooth. I know as we get older we naturally experience gum-line recession. I found myself not eating my favorite cold treats to avoid the unpleasant, cold sensations I would feel.
Last week, I had the opportunity to test out Crest Sensi-Stop strips. The strips are thin and flexible and you apply them directly to the sensitive area for ten minutes. So, I applied mine, waited ten minutes, then ate a fudgsicle. Normally, I would never take a bite of something this cold on that particular tooth. This was the first time I did not have any sensitivity with that tooth while eating a cold treat. For me, the strip worked ten times better than any toothpaste I have tried in the past. What I like most about it is the protection last up to one month.
A week after trying the Sensi-Stop strip, I am still able to eat my favorite cold treats and not worry about how my teeth are going to feel later. You can’t beat that!
Crest Sensi-Stop Strips will be available at retailers nationwide beginning September 2014. You can pre-order them by visiting www.crest.com.
